Hey All,

    I've been a Purple Cobra since the Summer 2009 season and enjoyed getting back into the game with a bunch of great teammates.  Like many Purple Cobras, I started playing hockey (and skating) far too late in my life but have enjoyed the game of hockey since the first day I rented a pair of skates from Honnen Ice Arena on the Colorado College campus.  To date, I have never had a private skating or hockey lesson and learn the hard way (sometimes by tripping on my skates or swinging through a huge slapshot windup only to catch air) but would have it no other way.  You can usually catch me at stick and puck sessions around Denver trying to improve on my shots and stickhandling when I'm not at the Promenade trying to help my fellow Cobras enjoy the game and chalk up the "W."  I'm looking forward to an excellent and fun Winter 2009-2010 season, see you all at the rink...
